Standard Business Terms:
Upon selection as a vendor, we will deliver a prototype/mock-up of the project. The prototype will consist of 2-3 screens as the requirement may be. For example, in a web based project, the screens will include a mock-up of the home page, one content page, and one page for displaying the form items.
As a general practise, we work with the following payment terms,
For projects under US$500:
After the prototype is approved, 100% payment is made. The project will be delivered as per agreed time-lines.
We agree to pay a penalty of upto US$30 per day for delayed deliveries.
For projects betwen US$500 and US$1000:
After the prototype is approved, 50% advance is to be paid. The project will be completed and tested in line with design documentation, and will adhere to the agreed time-lines. Once the client approves the project, balance 50% payment is to be paid.
We agree to pay a penalty of upto US$50 per day for delayed deliveries.
For projects over US$1000:
After the prototype is approved, 30% advance is to be paid. The project will be completed and tested in line with design documentation, and will adhere to the agreed time-lines. Once the client approves the project, 55% payment is to be made. The balance 15% payment is to be made upon successful implementation and testing of 30 days.
We agree to pay a penalty of upto US$100 per day for delayed deliveries.
