While
you're looking for freelancing work, it may be difficult to find
money to pay the bills. With the information in this article,
you may be able to find additional sources of income! Here's how:
Think
outside the box. What other talents do you have? For example,
although my freelancing talents are writing and reseaching, I'm
also a janitor, babysitter and tarot card reader. Let
other people know you're looking. You know all those people
you told about your freelancing business? Now go back to them,
explain your other talents, and ask if they have any job opportunities
or ideas for you. Be
flexible. When you hear of a job you could do, don't dismiss
it, because you think you don't have time. Get your family to
help, and all sorts of extra hours could appear. Consider
the money. What do the extra jobs pay? What will it cost for
uniforms, child care, transportation, and other expenses? Will
it be worth it to work?
Have
a goal. What will you spend the extra money on? Having a goal
you can work towards may make working more fun. Get
out there. Attend meetings and social gatherings whenever
you can. For example, I attend church functions and MOPS (Mothers
of Preschoolers) meetings several times a month, therefore expanding
my base of people who I can talk to about possible jobs.
