The Internet has made it easy to build a successful freelance career
as a independent professional working from home or as a means to
provide an additional stream of income for an already established
writing and e-publishing online business.
Tips on planning your time
There are hundreds, if not thousands, of writers that produce material
while balancing babies, bank accounts, web sites or other jobs.
As a independent writer you need to keep yourself creative, motivated
and productive all while coming up with new ideas, writing articles,
stories or ebooks. It is important from the begining to learn to
write regularly and determine a writing schedule for yourself and
stick to it.
You may not be able to find the time to write every day but your
success will be determined by the amount of time that you do spend
writing.

William Faulkner wrote"sanctuary" part-time during the year he worked
in a hot, sweaty boiler room. Anthony Trollope worked in the Post
Office but wrote his classic vitorian novels before dawn or on his
way to work. Phyllis Wheatley wrote her book of poetry while working
as a slave...
Compared to these people how big are our own distractions, interruptions
and other excuses we make for not getting on
with earning a living from our writing.
